I think to myself, was the reviewer standing next to me? If he was, where was his pen and paper?
Unfortunately for me, due to being vertically challenged, I was stuck under someone's armpit throughout the concert but it was a good performance and atmosphere - not the armpit (they don't perform or have much atmosphere) but the concert itself - Oi Va Voi. Funny that the audience really got into one of the sets which derives from the Shtetl.
Am liking the regen in King's Cross.
So different to when I lived there in '89.

- So like a lot of people due to funding cuts etc etc I find myself at 42 on the scrap heap. 16 years of experience working in further education....and tbh it wasn't a career choice that I planned after University. I just landed a job and continued to work in the sector going from project to project. Not very exciting you might think and many times I thought the same. So for one reason or another I find myself looking for that job that will excite, entice and appreciate my knowledge and skills. You'd think it was a no brainer but interviews are getting tougher and tougher and no candidate is left unscathed by the process, I'm going to ue this blog to feedback and reflect on each of my interviews and maybe I will learn something on the way on how to clinch that job.
