This is a delightful museum which features the Robert Opie Collection full of brands, packaging and advertising since Queen Vicky took the throne. It's an impressive collection from packaging of crisps to Cindy dolls...it's a trip down memory lane.
Remember this ad:
'Bring me honey
Bring me a-p-p-l-e-s
Bring me hazel nuts
Bring me wheat
Bring me good things to e-e-e-a-t
Kellogs Country Store'
And rest.
Worth seeing for £5.80
Now for the coffee, well it's general filter but I did have some time to spare before my meeting so I headed to the Lazy Daisy Cafe on Portobello Road. This is an organic, herbal, child friendly cafe which sells veggie food and of course banana cake; wherever I go I see banana cake.
Cafe Latte : 1:90
Warm not hot, hot, hot
Friendly man behind the counter!!!!!*****!!!!!

There is no such thing as a brand. It is a construct to enable advertisers, marketeers, retailers and manufacturers to manipulate our emotions. I shop therefore I am. We must stand up to this nonsense. The revolution will not be televised.
If you shopped at Lidl then I would sympathise - but I bet you don't.
