I was on the guest list, so T and I spent the evening sipping cocktails and munching canapes. We also sat in the window display on a rather sumptuous purple sofa which matched my top.
We even attended a lecture on the lighting design, some of them are inspired by flowers did you know.
I liked the top that the designer was wearing; very smock top, hides all sins. Must buy one.
Too pissed to drink a coffee.

- So like a lot of people due to funding cuts etc etc I find myself at 42 on the scrap heap. 16 years of experience working in further education....and tbh it wasn't a career choice that I planned after University. I just landed a job and continued to work in the sector going from project to project. Not very exciting you might think and many times I thought the same. So for one reason or another I find myself looking for that job that will excite, entice and appreciate my knowledge and skills. You'd think it was a no brainer but interviews are getting tougher and tougher and no candidate is left unscathed by the process, I'm going to ue this blog to feedback and reflect on each of my interviews and maybe I will learn something on the way on how to clinch that job.
