Man in Shorts has gone to pasteurs new - sowing a new field full of his Shrek-like seeds.
We shall miss him so.
Yet he has encouraged me to hire an allotment in the Ville de Finche and I have begun my search.
Of course it's not easy as the weekly newsletter Allotment Digest writes that the most popular sites have a 10 year waiting list.
Meanwhile I will continue to purchase my fruit 'n' veg at the local supermarket. Quelle shame as I was already planning the cultivation of a cocoa bean patch.

- So like a lot of people due to funding cuts etc etc I find myself at 42 on the scrap heap. 16 years of experience working in further education....and tbh it wasn't a career choice that I planned after University. I just landed a job and continued to work in the sector going from project to project. Not very exciting you might think and many times I thought the same. So for one reason or another I find myself looking for that job that will excite, entice and appreciate my knowledge and skills. You'd think it was a no brainer but interviews are getting tougher and tougher and no candidate is left unscathed by the process, I'm going to ue this blog to feedback and reflect on each of my interviews and maybe I will learn something on the way on how to clinch that job.
