Fairy Dust

It’s funny how sometimes things pop up and surprise you. Y’know what I’m referring to.

This happened to me today. I was wading through a pile of CVs and actually found the candidates unrelated work a lot more interesting than their relevant work.

For example, I have in my hand a CV from a former dancer / performer who played a fairy in a pantomime and cabaret in Japan and then there’s a graduate from the University of Santiago who has walked across hot coals. So I find this kinda stuff interesting when I read/or hear about people’s work/life journeys and then they end up here, in close proximity to me.

Alas, we’re moving orifices to a more salubrious area which means that I can drink Star**** coffee all day long (where cafés are aplenty) and will end up walking, uphill, 12 miles a day but the really interesting bit is that we’ll be sharing our office with the Arts Despot Community team….

….Watch this space - creating space for the imagination…
