coffee in North London is decidedly better than in the East. I was in Stratford today for a meeting - not the land of Shakespeare but the one which is going through regeneration. Not one decent coffee shop to be found.
What are you doing Mrs starbucks and Mr Pret???

Honestly I thought they would have invaded this territory by now.
Settled in some Polish/Romanian place for a £1.50 latte which tasted like warm milk - well it was...but they do good froth.

- So like a lot of people due to funding cuts etc etc I find myself at 42 on the scrap heap. 16 years of experience working in further education....and tbh it wasn't a career choice that I planned after University. I just landed a job and continued to work in the sector going from project to project. Not very exciting you might think and many times I thought the same. So for one reason or another I find myself looking for that job that will excite, entice and appreciate my knowledge and skills. You'd think it was a no brainer but interviews are getting tougher and tougher and no candidate is left unscathed by the process, I'm going to ue this blog to feedback and reflect on each of my interviews and maybe I will learn something on the way on how to clinch that job.
