I wonder whether things would be at all different if I just stopped observing and participated more oft.
Always the sounding board.
Or am I bored of being just 'the board'.
I wonder...
And so I've decided to take up sailing and line skating. Two s's.
Perhaps not whilst it's so cold, nor when there are tornados on my doorstep - but certainly something to consider for the Spring.

- So like a lot of people due to funding cuts etc etc I find myself at 42 on the scrap heap. 16 years of experience working in further education....and tbh it wasn't a career choice that I planned after University. I just landed a job and continued to work in the sector going from project to project. Not very exciting you might think and many times I thought the same. So for one reason or another I find myself looking for that job that will excite, entice and appreciate my knowledge and skills. You'd think it was a no brainer but interviews are getting tougher and tougher and no candidate is left unscathed by the process, I'm going to ue this blog to feedback and reflect on each of my interviews and maybe I will learn something on the way on how to clinch that job.

the passing of another year is always a good time for some existential angst. beware however the rash and sudden leap into the abyss, particularly if the abyss is a wet sea or an ankle wrenching fall
