A new wooden floor cafe opened by a couple of Polish people and selling a load of Polish delicacies has joined us in Finchley.
Very friendly - I was the only customer late afternoon.
Cafe Latte (£1.60 take away £1.80 have in) 4/5
Good temperature. Very hot so you will need two cups as they don't have the corregated cup holder thing although 'they are on order.' Not too strong but they are so obliging that if you need an extra shot they will give it to you). Did taste a bit cardboardy due to take away cup.
Ambience: Well am sure you can sit there and watch the newly coiffed leave Central Cuts. However the local homeless tend to use the front area as a home so it might not be very picturesque, at times. 3/5
Froth: Didn't notice any. 0/5
The fact that it's open until 11am is good news for Finchley. 5/5
(Can't help wondering what their grandparents were doing during the war, though).
