I need to ensure, in new project-job-thing, that there is a sustainability plan/process/audit/assessment integrated into the project's outputs.
I read, in the training manual, that it's good practise wherever possible to use fair trade products.
Great! This may result in no more instant supermarket brand coffee bought by Deidre as the office can now be introduced, justifiably, to my favourite Macchu Picchu Fair Trade roast grade 3...
I am sure that the funding body would be delighted by my interpretation of their requirements!!

- So like a lot of people due to funding cuts etc etc I find myself at 42 on the scrap heap. 16 years of experience working in further education....and tbh it wasn't a career choice that I planned after University. I just landed a job and continued to work in the sector going from project to project. Not very exciting you might think and many times I thought the same. So for one reason or another I find myself looking for that job that will excite, entice and appreciate my knowledge and skills. You'd think it was a no brainer but interviews are getting tougher and tougher and no candidate is left unscathed by the process, I'm going to ue this blog to feedback and reflect on each of my interviews and maybe I will learn something on the way on how to clinch that job.
